As a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner specializing in Mental Health, Ana Cerrato-Young understands the critical importance of continuity in mental health care. With over 5 years of experience in psychiatric nursing, Ana has worked in various clinical settings, from private practices to large healthcare institutions, treating individuals with a wide range of mental health conditions.

Recognizing a unique need in the mental health field, Ana founded Healing the Brain LLC to provide specialized coverage for Nurse Practitioners (NPs) during times of absence, including vacations, maternity leave, illness, and other personal reasons. The goal is to ensure that mental health services remain uninterrupted, and that patients continue to receive the highest standard of care, even when their primary NP is unavailable.

Certified as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), Ana is skilled in diagnosing, treating, and managing mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, trauma, mood disorders, and more. Ana has developed a deep understanding of the needs of mental health providers, offering tailored, flexible coverage that allows fellow NPs to take the time they need without worrying about patient care.

With a focus on seamless integration into existing practices, Ana provides telehealth coverage, allowing for a smooth transition and minimal disruption for patients.
